Chicken nuggets

Ingredients

1 sli bread (white bread, crust removed and cut into chunks)
1⁄2 lb chicken (chicken breast, skinless and boneless, chopped)
1 T cheese (finely grated cheese)
1 potato (small, peeled and grated)
1 t salt (garlic salt)
1 onion (small, peeled and grated)
2 T bread crumbs (golden)
  cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions

Place bread, chicken breast, and grated cheese in the bowl of a food processor and process until blended.

Transfer to a bowl. Add egg yolk, grated potato, onion, and garlic salt and mix.

Shape the mix into nuggets and dredge into bread crumbs until well covered.

Heat oil in a deep pan over high heat. Fry nuggets until golden brown.

Remove from pan and let them rest on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

Notes

Keep nuggets in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, or freeze them before cooking.

A seerving is 4 chicken nuggets for a meal, or 2 nugggets for a party. The original recipe should yield about 16 nuggets.
