Dried fruit cream cheese dip

This dip tastes great all by its self but kids prefer to use it as a dip for other types of fruit. Make it thick and it will be a spread.

Ingredients

1⁄2 c cheese (cream cheese, pineapple flavor)
2 ct yogurt (lemon flavor, 8 oz containers)
1⁄2 c fruit (mixed dried fruit)
1⁄4 mixed nuts (optional)

Instructions

Place the cream cheese into a serving bowl.

Add the lemon yogurt and mix with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth.

Fold in the dried mixed fruit and nuts, if using.

Cover the bowl tightly and chill for at least 1 hour.

Notes

Chilling Time:  approximately 1 hour.

You can use a single type of dried fruit or a fruit mix. The same goes for the nuts, use a mix or use only one type of nut. You can make your dip only with dried fruit, just nuts and omit the fruit, or dried fruit and nuts.
