Gingerbread

Description

The easiest recipe to make cookie shapes that look as lovely as they taste.

Ingredients

6 oz
sausage (breakfast sausage)
1 cn
refried beans (15 oz can)
1 T
butter (or margarine)
8
eggs (beaten)
8
taco shells (crunchy or soft whichever you prefer)

Instructions

  1. prehat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and spices in a large bowl. Rub in butter until the mixture becomes crubmly.
  3. Mix honey and molasses with the beaten egg. Pour on top of the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead for a couple of minutes on a floured surface and then roll out until roughly 1/6 of an inch thick.
  5. Use cookie cutters to make shapes or cut shapes with a knife, freehand. Place dough shapes on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and transfre to a wire rackt to cool.

Notes

Leave space between cookie shapes as they will increase when baking.
