Description
A healthy breakfast or snack that you can prepare together with your kids.
Ingredients
3 c
oats (rolled oats) 1⁄4 c
sunflower seeds (raw) 1⁄4 c
wheat germ 1⁄4 c
sesame seeds 1 c
coconut (shredded) 1 c
almonds (blanched and chopped) 1⁄2 c
vegetable oil 1⁄2 c
honey 4 dr
vanilla extract 1⁄2 c
water (hot) 1 c
berries (freeze dried)Instructions
Preheat oven to 250°F.Mix al ingredients, except berries, in a large bowl and stir until they are moist.Spread mixture on baking tray and bake for about 1 hour, until golden brown.Remove from oven and let cool down. Break granola, if needed and mix with berries.
Notes
Substitute almonds with other nus such as walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, or a mixture nuts. Equally, you can substitute dried berries with seedless raisins or other dried fruit.
