Noodle salad with sesame seeds


This salad tastes delicious either warm or chilled.


15 oz
1⁄2 c
sesame oil
1⁄2 c
soy sauce
1⁄4 c
rice vinegar (or balsamic vinegar then add less sugar)
1 ds
chili oil (optional, this is hot and only for older children)
3 T
sugar (or less)
2 t
sesame seeds (toasted)
yellow bell pepper (diced)
green onions (sliced)


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instruction - but don't overcook. The pasta should still have some bite. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large salad bowl, mix the soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil and the sugar. Add the cooked pasta and toss well.
  3. Top with green onion and bell pepper and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
