Pepperoni and cheese warm buns

Serve this pepperoni and chesse warm buns with pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Party food that all like.

Ingredients

2 pk pepperoni (sliced, 5 oz packages)
1 pk cheese (shredded Mozzarella cheese, 4 oz package)
2 cn dough (refrigerated crescent rolls, 8 oz cans)

Instructions

Preset the oven temperature to 375° F allowing the oven to preheat.

Count out 48 pieces of pepperoni and set aside.

Remove the crescent roll dough from the packages, unroll and separate each one into 8 pieces.

Place 3 slices of pepperoni onto each dough triangle.

Sprinkle the pepperoni with the cheese.

Starting with the short side of each dough triangle, roll the dough to the opposite point and press lightly to seal closed.

Place the rolls, point side down, onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 12 minutes or until the dough is a nice golden brown.

Notes

This is great party food. No need for plates, although it is good having them, and little risk of the kids getting dirty while eating the warm buns.

Variations

The warm buns can have a wide variety of fillings. Try ham and cheese for something that will please most of the kids. Some kind of cooked cooked ground meat is also good.
