No bread ham & cheese pinwheels

Ham and cheese pinwheels are great in place of a sandwich at lunchtime.

Ingredients

1 package cheese (crean cheese, softened, 8 oz package)
4 pickles (optinal, dill pickles, chopped)
2 tablespoons mustard (prepared mustard)
3 tablespoons chives (fresh chives, chopped)
6 slices ham (cooked ham)
1 pepper (optinal, red, chopped)

Instructions

Combine cream cheese with pickles, chopped red pepper, mustard and chives.

Spread mixture on ham slices and roll them up. Wrap each rolled up slice in foil.

Put rolls into fridge and and chill overnight or for at least 2 hours.

Unwrap and slice.

Notes

Preparation time does not include chilling.

Thin and pointed red pepper are sweeter than the short and rounded.

Variations

Vary the vegetables and  herbs in the filling. You can mix with the cream cheese cooked spinach, grated carrot, cucumber and dill, sweet corn and many more.
